To Dianne Feinstein, the truth is a smear, if it said by a Republican.
Here is the truth she is calling a "smear."
Obama has nominated Goodwin Lui for the Federal Appeals Court.
1. Liu lied to Congress by refusing to provide numerous requested documents. Only when confronted with the facts did he say "opps" and then give what is asked.
"The committee's top Republican, meanwhile, suggested Liu might be guilty of criminal contempt for failing to list some of his speeches and events he attended in the initial set of documents he disclosed to senators.
Liu "has failed ... to take seriously his responsibility to produce these documents," said Sen. Jeff Sessions, R-Ala."
2. Lui is a George Wallace bigot--he believes people should be given jobs based on their race, admitted to schools based on race. When will bigotry end if we put Wallace wannabe's on our courts.
3. Wrote a book saying history and other NON Constitutional determinations should be used in deciding law. In other wards, he is telling us, up front, he will violate his oath of office.
These are not smears--they are the truth. As Democrat President Harry Truman once said, "I do not give them hell, I tell the truth and they think it is hell"
Feinstein is a defender and protector of those who do not believe the Constitution is the law of the land--like a totalitarian, she does not believe in fixed rules for everybody being the same.
