Don't you feel warm, safe and comfortable with Democrats running up trillions in deficits in Washing, billions in deficits and debt in Sacramento and hundreds of millions of deficit in Los Angeles and San Francisco?
"Los Angeles Controller Wendy Greuel on Monday said she expects the citys general fund will be out of money" by May 10 and that L.A. will likely deplete its reserve funds and be in the red by June 30."
The funny thing is that the city council, 13-2 Democrat, is trying to steal money from the Department of Water and Power. This, if they do, closes the door on the DWP.
The choice is closing the water and power supply of Los Angeles, or closing the inept government of Los Angeles--except for police and fire protection, that is not a choice--it is an imperative.
This is what happens when you have one Party government--the Union Party, pronounced Democrat.
This is a real opportunity--let LA go bankrupt, courts take over, gets rid of the sweetheart deals, finds the open corrupt and puts lots of Democrats in jail. Maybe then LA will be a fit place for decent people and families.
What happens to LA on July 1? Not even the city council knows. "Our reserve fund was already very marginal to begin with. This could push it over the edge, Smith said. That would mean we would have nothing in the tank on June 30, at the end of the fiscal year.
Smith said he could not envision a scenario in which the city could recoup that much money before July 1. Even additional layoffs could not be processed that quickly.
The question is what are we going to do next? That I don’t know, Smith said."
May not seem like it know, but LA going down the toilet is the best thing that can happen for the people of LA and California. It will be a great example of union/Democrat ownership of government, businesses and society.
