Instead of stopping the extortion and corruption of unions, children in LAUSD are going to lose 12 days of education.
"An association of principals and administrators reached a tentative agreement with the Los Angeles Unified School District to take 12 furlough days over the next two years - a move that could shorten the school year by one week, union officials announced Friday.
In an effort to help the district bridge a $640 million deficit, Associated Administrators of Los Angeles tentatively agreed to cut the school year by a week this year and next.
The union also would give up two teacher and administrator planning days when students are not in school. Union members still have to vote whether to give final approval to the deal."
Government educators are corrupt--they steal from children and give to special interests that extort money from teachers.
Now you know why government education is a failure--LAUSD has a 50% drop out rate--a failure by any measure!
