  • Corrupt San Jose City Council Costs Over $400,00 for One Lawsuit

The city council of San Jose tried to stop citizens from participating in elections. The Democrats/unions owning San Jose set up the laws so only unions would have full voice in elections.

"Back in August, the San Jose City Council reached a crossroads in its effort to limit "soft money" in elections by capping contributions to independent political groups. The question was whether to continue trying to enforce the cap in the face of growing legal uncertainty, or drop it to avoid further legal costs while the courts hash out the issue."

In Democrat parlance "soft money" is really free speech.

"COMPAC sued, arguing that the cap violated the group's free-speech rights, and a trial judge ruled in the group's favor. The city appealed and last year won a reversal on technical grounds.

But COMPAC refiled its case, and after the council's August vote to reinstate the limits, a judge ruled again in COMPAC's favor. Earlier this month, cash-strapped San Jose was ordered to pay $441,000 to cover COMPAC's legal bills."

So, a bankrupt San Jose, must pay attorneys fees for those who tried to end the corruption and bankrupt policies.

    Ironic, huh?
