The State and Feds tax your gasoline. Now, there is a movement to allow cities and counties to add a tax to gasoline.

Government loves taxes--another reason California has high unemployment and productive people are leaving the State.
California is in a Great Depression and Sacramento is doing all it can to keep it going.
