The only way the SEIU gets a dime is through extortion. The SEIU tells people, either pay us a bribe (they call it dues) or you are not allowed to work for government or firms we control.
The pension crisis, the government over employment problem, the failure to cut employees--all of this because unions own local and State government.
Maybe now we will end the corruption of the union monopoly.
