Would you pay for a newspaper that has as a policy to close the farms of California in order to protect the delta smelt?
Towns in the Central Valley have unemployment rates of up to 40%, towns like Mendota, yet the Mercury News laughs at this fact. But, what if they are right, is a 20% unemployment rate acceptable? Yes, according to the San Jose Mercury News.
I prefer the thoughts of Congressman Dana Rohrabacher the inhumane at the Mercury News/Rohrabacher said, "Delta Smelty, eat the fish give the people water."
