Clinics are allowed to hire doctors .HMO's are allowed to hire doctors. Corporations are allowed to hire doctors.
Only hospital, which use doctors the most are not allowed to hire doctors.
I am neither in favor or opposed to hospitals hiring doctors. This is none of my business. It is between the doctor and the hospital, not up to me or government to determine if some one wants to hire a doctor or if a doctor wants to be hired.
Bottom line: hospitals are "allowed” to hire administrators, nurses, janitors, public relations people, technicians--but the most important personnel--doctors--are off limits.
This is why we have too much government. This is why government can not be trusted. Talk about special interest control of our lives.
Free the doctors. Free the hospitals. Limit the government.
