Justice Anthony Kennedy is normally a responsible jurist. Even the best sometimes act without thinking.
"U.S. Supreme Court Justice Anthony M. Kennedy criticized California sentencing policies and crowded prisons Wednesday night, calling the influence that unionized prison guards had in passing the three-strikes law "sick."
What he did not note is that since the passage of Three Strikes, California crime is at an all time low.
We have a choice--lots of victims or crowded prisons. As for me I prefer criminals being uncomfortable than being a crime victim. As O'Reilly would say, "What say you?"
