Wow!! A newspaper understands the budget and government schools. "This budget is going to be a disaster on many fronts. Although schools are likely to fare better than social services and health care, the cumulative effects do not bode well for the next generation's entry into a knowledge-based economy."
Importantly the newspaper demands that the Guv be honest and not lie about the budget. "There's no way to sugarcoat all this but straight talk helps it go down easier. As the governor should know by now."
