Arnold will look at the results of today’s Field Poll as "the good old days" in a couple of months.
In the next two months this is going to happen:
1.The State will run out of cash, stop paying tax refunds and other bills.
2. By February 22 we need to clean up the current $36 billion deficit--the Governor wants to steal gas tax money for the general fund, then create a "fee"to replace the gas tax ) fees do not need a two thirds vote to pass). This will be defeated and make him look bad.
3.The Feds will not give him the $7billion that he begged for last week.
"A majority of voters - 59 percent - also said that Schwarzenegger, who will be termed out at the end of this year, will leave the state in worse shape than when he won office in 2003, after Gov. Gray Davis was recalled."
The next Field Poll will show Arnold at about the 20% margin.
