Listening to Senator-elect Scott Brown last night I was struck by his call for Independents to join a movement to cut government down to size. The acceptance speech was a call to arms, a populist, libertarian presentation.
He sounded like Ronald Reagan.
The campaign was anti-Washington, anti-closed doors Obama politics, against high taxes, stupid regulations, against big government.
Reagan started the fire and the Tea Party folks and recent Townhalls, show that the fire has been re-lit. The Brown victory shows it is a winning combination--anger, action and a policy of cutting down the size of government.
Reagan must be smiling down on America,
