Democrat Congressmen Costa and Cardoza call themselves "blue dog" Democrats, yet they have been rubber stamps for goverment control of health care,a $13 trillion debt and Obama take over banks and financial institutions.
Now, they have agreed with the Obama administration to the end of agriculture in California."On the day that Costa of Fresno and Cardoza of Merced were holding a water forum in Los Banos, press reports told of the U.S. Interior Department's decision to put the Two Gates project on indefinitely hold. This was the project that Democrats and farmers had hoped would give temporary relief to water flows cut off by environmental rulings. Interior Secretary Ken Salazar came to the Valley in October to promise help. Then he went back to Washington and seemed to forget about his commitment."
The heart of their districts is farming--and the man they give blind allegiance to has killed it off by shutting off the water supply.
Where is their anger? Where is their help? Both Cardoza and Costa VOTED against water for their districts when they VOTED against a GOP Congressman Nunes amendment to a bill to open the water pumps.
These guys have made their districts the Dust Bowl of 2010.
Cardoza and Costa deserve to be embarrassed--they deserve to be retired.
