Glad to see George Skelton get it. In a five year period the deficit of the state will be over$110 billion (2006-11). Current real unemployment is over 20%. Since September, 2008, we have borrowed $30 billion, just to keep the State going.
AB 32 has forced business to leave the State or not come here at all.
But, this article is about the Feds bailing us out, again. It is about politics, it is about ego. It is not about the cause of this mess or solutions.
Time for serious discussion, not begging for money from a bankrupt Federal government.
