Did you know your school district is paying the salary of the teachers union president? AND, you are paying for a long term substitute teacher, to replace the unionist in the classroom.
Imagine, not only do the teachers pay a bribe to go into a government classroom, but the taxpayers, not the union, pays the salary for this corruption.
"For years, the full-time president of the Vista Teachers Association has remained on the district's payroll, while the union has reimbursed the district for the cost of a lesser-paid, temporary teacher to absorb the president's classroom duties. Now, Vista Unified officials say the arrangement is illegal and they want the union to repay the district $128,242 ---- the difference between the two salaries over the last three years."
Maybe you need to ask your school board if they are paying for the union--and you thought the money went to education.
