"Narrow the focus to L.A. County and the picture becomes much bleaker. This county has more uninsured residents than any other local government in the country -- somewhere around 3 million, according to the best local estimates. Supervisor Zev Yaroslavsky, who has long been deeply immersed in the healthcare issue, likes to point out that "if Los Angeles County's uninsured were their own county, they'd be the third-largest county in the United States."
Note the Times still uses the phrase "immigrants". These are NOT immigrants, people who come here legally, they are illegal aliens, criminals who sneak into our State and Nation, use stolen and phony ID's, drive without licenses, steal jobs from honest people.
Thanks to Obama, they will have an easier time to steal health care from honest people as well. "It's a safe bet that the majority of those people are immigrants, because health officials say that 40% of all the patients treated at county hospitals are undocumented. In recognition of that fact and of the hospitals' legal and ethical responsibilities to treat the uninsured ill and injured -- regardless of their immigration status -- Washington currently subsidizes their care at facilities, like L.A. County's, with "disproportionate" numbers of such patients."
Obamacare is about rationing of health care ($500 billion in Medicare cuts), raising taxes ($400 billion in raised taxes) and giving free health care to illegal aliens (subsidizing government care facilities that specialize in health care for illegal aliens).
