Only government can refuse to count all the unemployed and claim to be accurate. In fact, the real U.S. unemployment rate is 17.3%..Even the phony rate went from 10% to 10.4% in the last month.
"Had the labor force not decreased by 661,000 last month, the jobless rate would have been 10.4 percent, according to economists including David Rosenberg at Gluskin Sheff & Associates in Toronto and Harm Bandholz at UniCredit Research in New York."
The REAL rate is 17.3%. "The so-called underemployment rate -- which includes part- time workers whod prefer a full-time position and people who want work but have given up looking -- rose to 17.3 percent in December from 17.2 percent.
The number of discouraged workers, those not looking for work because they believe none is available, climbed to 929,000 last month, the most since records began in 1994."
The BO stimulus is just BS. Corruption, payoffs, special interests and unions are the winners. Families, small business, those not controlling Washington, are the losers.
President Obama and his people claim we are out of the recession--they may be right.
We are not in a recession--with higher taxes coming, environmental laws killing jobs, a $13 trillion debt--like California, the United States is in a Depression.
Time for a national voter revolt before it is too late. Angry yet?
