Arnold just gave a billionaire environmental exemptions to build a football stadium. At the same time Arnold ended the truck driving careers of close to 1200 poor and middle class people on the altar of AB 32. Guess the truckers don't donate enough.
Now the Guv wants more exemptions from environmental laws. Why? "The goal of the governors proposal is to expedite projects that would generate jobs and stimulate the sluggish economy."
In other words he now admits his environmental laws have harmed the economy and killed jobs.
Maybe he should go with total honesty, admit his mistakes and repeal these job and revenues killers. Anything less is, like the billionaires stadium, special interest payoffs, period.
Save the economy, repeal AB 32--it is the Katrina of California--except it is man made.
