Yesterday the UCLA study on "undocumented workers" (the dog eat their documents I guess) noted that illegal aliens (the real term) are exploited--did not take a Ph.D to know that--or to spend hundreds of thousands of tax dollars to know this truth. UCLA failed to note that the illegal aliens voluntarily chose to be exploited--they sneaked into this nation, they broke our laws, they went to work for folks known to exploit--illegal aliens have NO complaints--they chose this lifestyle.
Now, UCLA, using our tax dollars, have determined the best way to stop the exploitation is the legalize those who break our laws.
""If we are going to create a solid recovery with good wages, we have to fix this hole that we have at the bottom of the labor market," said the author, Ral Hinojosa-Ojeda, an associate professor with the UCLA Department of Chicana and Chicano Studies. "This is not about bringing in a lot of workers. This is about your neighbors and if we are better off where everybody in the economy has the ability to fight for their families and to contribute more to the economy rather than staying in the shadows." Note the "expert" is a professor of ethnic studies, not a real education course.
This tax paid study is an excuse to support and promote illegal activities--looks like those involved in this study need to get off the public dole and do something productive--and honest--with their lives.
