  • Private Owned Car Makers Sell More: Government Owned Sell Less

Ford and Subaru both gained sales of vehicles. Both are privately owned.

GM and Chrysler continue their downward sales slide. Both are government owned, controlled and operated. In fact, Government Motors is begging to steal another $3.5 billion from the poor and middle class to keep it going.

"GM went through a difficult bankruptcy last year in which it shuttered the Pontiac and Saturn brands and failed in several attempts to sell its Saab division. Thanks to $52 billion in government aid and loans, the company has a leaner balance sheet and has achieved large labor cost savings. It emerged from bankruptcy protection in July, but with the U.S. government trading most of the debt for a 61% stake in the company."

Don't you think we should get an owners discount on the GM cars? On the other hand, would you trust a car built by government?
