I love it when Democrats try to steal GOP ideas, yet get caught in a case of fraud.
The Democrats thought they would fool you. The GOP wants a ballot measure for a part time legislature, putting into law short sessions, fewer bills introduced and half pay for legislators--oh, and smaller staffs.
The Democrats realize that if this gets on the ballot, no amount of money will kill it.
So, they create a new legislative rule, "thinking" about fewer bills and making the legislative sessions into budget sessions and "legislative sessions".
Of course the majority, the Democrats, if they want, can change the rules for an emergency--and you know how Democrats love to create an emergency. And, once the ballot measure is gone, because we believe the Democrats (when was the last time you truly believed radical politicians?) then they can go back to the current system.
Will the public buy this trick? Do you?
