Barack Obama has decided it is better for people to die of a drug over dose than of AIDS.
A drug overdose is quick, with almost no cost to the health care system. Obama is getting rid of pap smears for women, limiting mammograms to women over 50--those under 50 will have to beg for them--and he is starting the effort to limit CT scans, so diseases will be way down the road toward death before they are found.
Now he has approved a FREE needle exchange, financed with Federal tax dollars, for drug addicts. This will make it easier and cheaper to kill themselves.
The alternative is messy--dirty needles, eventually getting either hepatitis or worse, AIDS--both diseases mean expensive treatment and a life time of expensive drugs.
So, Obama decided to cut the health care bill by allowing free needles for druggist--we will now see an increase in drug deaths and hopefully a decrease is hepatitis and AIDS.
Obama should be thanked for being so thoughtful. What do you think? A bit sarcastic, but accurate.
