You know a school is bad when a government totally closes it and dismisses all the administrators and teachers. That is how bad Fremont High School is in Los Angeles.
Maybe a few more closed schools, vouchers and ridding the district of the virus called "unions" will make things better.
"School officials will shut down low-performing Fremont High in the Florence neighborhood of L.A., dismiss its staff and reopen the school starting from scratch, the district confirmed today.
The controversial strategy, called "reconstitution," has never before been tried by the Los Angeles Unified School District."
I have a better idea--"reconstitute" LAUSD. Get rod of the administrators, the Board, and put the teachers in a mandatory training system for a year. No new training , no jobs.
That is how bad LAUSD schools have become--they need to be closed before they harm more students.
