Elizabeth Drew is as radical as any journalist. She loved Obama last year. Yet this is what she says now, "She scored "the Chicago crowd," which she characterized as "a distressingly insular and small-minded West Wing team." The White House, Ms. Drew says, needs adult supervision" an older, wiser head, someone with a bit more detachment."
In other words, she know believes Obama to be both corrupt and a child.
"Ms. Drew reports that while the president was in Asia last week, "a critical mass of influential people who once held big hopes for his presidency began to wonder whether they had misjudged the man." They once held "an unromantically high opinion of Obama," and were key to his rise, but now they are concluding that the president isn't "the person of integrity and even classiness they had thought."
To Drew, Barack Obama is a phony--something the rest of us knew last year.
The good news is that the media understands that Obama is not up to the rigors of being President, not smooth enough, not honest enough. We are watching the fringe media treat Obama like they treated Bush--and it will not be pretty.
