Get real. It is just a matter of time, 2,3, 4 years and Toyota will leave California with 10,000 jobs.
As the cost of AB 32 kicks in, Toyota will not be able to afford to stay in the State. As our schools decline, the cost of government goes up with higher taxes, as we decline as a State, Toyota would be foolish not to go to Kentucky--with lower taxes and where the corruption is small time compared to Sacramento.
Yes, they say they are staying--just as GM and Chrysler said they would not go bankrupt.
We need a plan but the children in Sacramento still can't work together or for the people of California. Maybe the 2010 election will give us adults.
