Read this story and weep. This is NOT a list about emissions. It is a list of firms to be closed and jobs lost, to "save the planet". This is the first step--find those that the Democrats and Al Gore do not like.
Then create regulations, tax policies and added costs, to force these firms to fire tens of thousands of employees and kick these firms out of State.
"Young said the emissions totals will be used as a baseline as California prepares to launch a "cap and trade" market in 2012. Under such a market, which is used in Europe, companies are given a limit of the amount of pollution they can put out, and if they produce less, they can sell credits to other companies to help them meet their required amount."

Oh, it will also add 50-75% to the cost of energy--costing us more jobs and make people poorer---the perfect government plan.
