One of the reasons our State is in such a mess is because our elections just occur in the primary--the general election has been decided by redistricting. The Democrats get their districts, the Republicans get a few districts, and everybody shakes hands and says "see you in ten years".
This time it will be different, except for Congress. You can redistrict the Assembly and Senate--the politicians still have Congress as their play toy.
You can apply to be a member of the Commission to redistrict. In fact, NO politicians, political consultants, office holders, major donors or those who work for officeholders can be a member of the Commission.
If you are angry, do something about it--apply for the Redistricting Commission--you can make a difference.
