  • California Women "Safe" From Obama Mammogram "Guidelines"

While Barack Obama is trying to cut health care for women, yet denying his role, the women of California are safe for the moment.

"Meanwhile, late Wednesday California's Insurance Commissioner (and Republican gubernatorial contender) Steve Poizner chimed in, reminding folks that California has laws on the books mandating that women be able to get mammograms under certain circumstances.

"(A) state law remains in place that dictates women still have the right under their insurance coverage to be given mammograms for breast cancer screenings beginning at age 35," Poizner noted. "Scientists can and should continue to research the best ways to treat our medical ailments. However, regardless of what recent medical panels have said, state law continues to require insurance companies to cover mammograms for women as early as age 35."

Here is the problem. Obama could rule that if California mandates mammogram coverage, then California gets cut off from Federal health care funds.

There is a war on for the health of women. Poizner and California law on the side of women, with Obama and friends trying to ration their right to life.

    Which side are you on?
