CBS in Los Angeles did a story about red light camera's a few days ago, proving that in Los Angeles the red light camera's are dangerous. See story here.
Yet, government continues to endanger the lives of its citizens because of corruption and the need to make money to cover deficits caused by corruption and incompetence.
Now that these studies are here, I can imagine private citizens, hit and harmed at a red light camera intersection suing the city of Los Angels, or any city with these dangerous camera's, for millions. Maybe that will stop the corruption of LA and other cities.
