  • Official? CA Deficit $25 Billion NEXT Year

Over the past three years the California deficit has been $60 billion. The deficit THIS year, when all the lost lawsuits, lack of asset sales and real spending of money that does not exist is added, the deficit will reach $20 billion.

Now we know that the budget deficit next year "could" be $25 billion. That is the good news--the government has ALWAYS underestimated the deficit--so it WILL be at least $25 billion and probably over $30 billion.

In this climate the Governor and legislature wants us to pass a $22 billion bond that does not guarantee a single drop of water ($22 billion includes principal and interest).

Is it time yet to get rid of the union monopolies? Is it time yet to allow vouchers for students, to save money and allow them quality education? Have we reached the time to get rid of the job and revenue killer AB 32?

We need to get rid of the cigars which create the smoke and mirrors of phony budgets?

Will our elected officials out source the DMV to save money and IMPROVE the quality of the service? When will we stop giving social benefits to illegal aliens?

Bottom line, when will government in Sacramento become legitimate and stop promoting and protecting the special interests.

Oh, the legacy of Arnold? Guaranteed--over $100 billion in deficits.
