Why don't folks pay attention (or buy) newspapers? Because they still defend children running the government. We have massive deficits, larger debts, pension plans about to implode, weak leaders unwilling to open the water pumps, failed government education, bad roads--I could go on.
The California Pay Commission has decided to do a minimal pay and benefit cut. In the real world these folks would be fired and the Feds would investigate for corruption--because NO one could be that bad without trying to do funny stuff.
What do you think, praise the legislators or cut their pay?
