"Remember the Maine"
Maine is a VERY liberal State.
Last night the voters, by wide margins approved tax increases and massive bond measures. It also rejected a decrease in the automobile excise tax.
These folks LOVE big government.
The people of Maine, also by a wide margin veto to veto the legislative passed same-sex measure.
The politicians approved same-sex marriage--the voters gave it a resounding NO.
Not a single state has approved same-sex marriage--over 30 have already disapproved of it.
When the pro-same-sex folks in California think about putting Prop. 8 back on the ballot, they need to "Remember the Maine".
