If you believed the LA Times, and few do, it is your fault that illegal aliens sneak into this country and many die in the desert.
Not as if they did not know they were crossing a desert without water. Not as if they did not know they were breaking our laws and on their way to violating many of our criminal laws. Not that they did not know they were going to steal health care from our elderly and quality education from our children.
If the Times demanded enforcement of our immigration laws, these folks would not die. If the Times demanded that daily raids on car washes, home improvement stores and big corporations that hire illegal aliens as policy, these folks would not die. If Democrats and Meg Whitman and John McCain would not promise them citizenship (she believes in the "too big to fail" theory--so many of them, so we might as well allow the criminal action), these folks would not die.
Now you know why the Times is both financially and morally bankrupt. This is a paper that has lost credibility and trust--too bad trees have to die on the cross of the LA Times.
