  • Chronicle LOSES 25.8% Circulation, Times Loses 11.1%--in a Year

This from a just released report, "Of the top 25 dailies, the San Francisco Chronicle saw the worst circulation decline, falling 25.8 percent to 251,782. "

"The Los Angeles Times was in fourth place with daily circulation of 657,467, down 11.1% from a year ago. The Times' Sunday circulation fell 6.8%, to 983,702."

The Times, for the first time in decades has under one million circulation on Sunday. What the circulation reports do not note is the massive loss of trust and credibility of the LA Times.

Other CA papers? "Circulation fell 26%, to 95,938, at the Daily News in Woodland Hills and by 24.3%, to 113,182, at the Riverside Press-Enterprise, which has been hit hard by the housing slump.

Meanwhile, subscriptions fell 10.1% at the Orange County Register, to 212,293, and 10% at the San Diego Union-Tribune, to 242,705." The Sacramento Bee has NOT released its fallen circulation numbers.

Now you know why Obama is upset with talk radio, Rush, Glenn, Sean and their ilk---few are buying newspapers and even fewer believe them. The hallmark of trust is talk radio and Fox News--not good for the radical Obama administration, San Fran Nan or Dirty Harry.

With this report, watch the White House double its attack on talk radio and Fox News.
