  • Powerful teachers union considers water position

The drop out rate is high and teachers are being fired. Money is being wasted by LAUSD (so what else is new) and the minorities are being held hostage in failed schools (isn't this liberal racism).

Teachers in most districts are not getting raises and must pay more for their benefits.

Yet the teachers are forced to pay bribes in order to work. Their union though seems to be a political organization, not a representative of professional educators.

How else do you explain the fact that the California Teachers Association might take a stand on a proposed water bond. "The California Teachers Association is expected to debate its position on a proposed multibillion dollar water bond at the union's regularly scheduled meeting this weekend in Los Angeles. It is unclear if the CTA's State Council will take a formal stance. But some members are worried about any borrowing that might take money from schools, said union spokeswoman Becky Zoglman."

Will they take a stand and oppose the legalization of marijuana? After all that would make it easier for kids to come to school drugged. Will they take a stance in favor of the Senator Runner ballot measure to have voter ID. After all, 300-400,000 thousand kids crowding our classrooms are children of illegal alien and many are illegal aliens themselves.

The CTA is a political organization using the force of government to take money from good teachers to pay for a radical public policy agenda.

Why do we allow our teachers to be abused? Why don't unions register as political parties?
