The Obama stimulus plan, hundreds of billions worth, is an absolute failure, Total, absolute failure.
Instead of the over 1,000,000 new jobs, the nation has LOST more than a million jobs.
California was to get 396,000 jobs. Instead we LOST 336,400.
For several hundred billion dollars you would expect a better result. Yet, when someone who is a former ACORN adviser, no business background, supports government take over of businesses (banks, investment firms, auto makers, now trying to take over the Internet, yet can not close down the openly corrupt ACORN by ordering all government agencies to cut off this organized crime) and believes we should ask the world to provide us with environmental laws, foreign policy, etc.
In fact, the big winners of his $3 billion "Cash for Clunkers" was South Korea and Japan--their car companies sold most of the cars. In fact the major losers in this transfer of American dollars to foreign nations was the government owned car companies--Chrysler and General Motors. Both have sales down by almost 50%, while privately owned FORD was down about 5%, the same as the foreign made cars. Does this mean that Americans do not trust Barack Obama to run the car companies? Did I mention he put a 31 year old, an academic, never in the corporate world, to set policy for your car companies?
Now you know why the stimulus is not working. People Obama has put in charge are hero worshippers of Mao (Ron Bloom, czar for manufacturing), tax cheats, radicals who want to get rid of capitalism.
Sadly, Obama is now looking at a SECOND stimulus package--can unemployment go higher? Yes, and it will, thanks to BO.
