The deal was simple: allow casino's in your community and they will pay for extra fire and police support, along with other government services--without a tax--just a "mitigation" But what happens when revenues go down and the services continue"?
The poor and middle class are then forced to pay for the casino services, without even a free meal.
In the future the taxpayers of California will be subsidizing casino's. That would be wrong. Maybe it is time to rethink the process and have the casino's pay for the services instead of the poor paying for them?
