Ken Lewis worked the full year of 2009. But Barack Obama does not like him.
He likes him so little that the President of the United States extorted Lewis to give back the money he already earned and agreed to finish out the year at NO salary.
"That means no salary, no bonuses. In fact, he will have to repay Bank of America Corp. (BAC, Fortune 500) the more than $1 million he has already earned in his final year on the job.
Lewis agreed to the deal on Thursday after the Treasury department's pay czar, Kenneth Feinberg, "suggested" it to him, said Bob Stickler, a spokesman for the bank.
Stickler added that Lewis "felt it was not in the best interest of Bank of America or him to get into a dispute with the pay master."
This totalitarian act shows who owns the means of production in this nation. In political science textbooks, the Obama administration would be defined as "fascist".
The bigger story is that if Lewis, with all of his assets could not stop the President from openly stealing his money, how will you stop Obama from stealing yours?
This act makes it clear, the United States no longer has a working Constitution and our citizens are no longer free. When government can extort private citizens, rich or poor, to give up the money they earned, then freedom is a term in an old book, not a reality.
