Unions do not allow workers to hold jobs in companies covered by monopoly agreements, unless they pay bribes.
Now, the unions want to end democratic elections--end the secret ballot. If enough people are intimidated into signing a "card", the right of free elections are over. This is totalitarian, anybody shocked?
Democrat Dianne Feinstein is opposing the end of the rights of workers and a newspaper is applauding her. Maybe the newspaper realizes that unions have morally and economically killed the industry.
Too bad the Tribune and other papers have given union backed candidates support in the past.
Time for a workers revolt at the ballot box--candidates need to answer a simple question--would they enforce laws that give unions a monopoly over the work place?
