The State is bankrupt.
Most school districts are close to being bankrupt.
In January or February more money for government schools will be cut.
In July, with the new 2010-11 budget even more tax dolls wars will be cut.
LAUSD waste hundreds of millions each year, yet the Kern County school districts, and none of the others around the State complain about the fraud, corruption and incompetence of LAUSD.
Of course teachers salaries should be cut--if we want to continue the low level of government education. Don't cut, and the level will go even lower.
Maybe if the unions did not control the classroom, and the teachers take home pay, student would be better off. What do you think?
