The Guv and legislature have come up with another dandy idea--put the people of California over $18 billion MORE in debt. They want to pass a bond for $9.4 billion, with interest, that will cost $18.8 billion--DEBT.
In 2006 we passed two water bonds, for a total of $20 billion, interest and principal. How about a report on that money first? Let us know how they spent that money, can they be trusted with more money--especially since we can not afford it.
When will Sacramento stop spending new money and trying to reform what they do have? Why do they want to bankrupt the State. Want more water? Open the pumps and stop the phony fish protection actions.
Until the politicians make a priority of people over fish, the money will continue to be wasted. Open the pumps, tell us how you spent the last $20 billion, then ask us to trust you.
Do you trust Sacramento to wisely spend $18 billion on "water"?
