The Governor said he would sign none of the 700 bills on his desk till his version of a water bill is approved. By 3:00pm or so today he HAD signed 89 bills. Yes, and he voted 94 bills.
So when the Governor speaks you need to be careful of what you hear. On the Inga Barks show the other night, she had a press representative of the Governor on her show. She asked him if the Governor would veto all 700 bills if a water bill that HE liked was not approved. The answer WAS clear, "we will have to see". That is political talk for,"he won't keep his word but I do not have the pay grade to tell the truth".
Now we know that in 89 cases, he flip flopped. You can obviously expect more to be lf hours to signed. It is now 5:30--he has six and a half hours to sign, veto or let bills to become law without his signature.
If you want to see what he signed or vetoed, go here.
