How racist is the City of Los Angeles government? The Mayor and City Council believe Afro-Americans are too stupid to know what to eat. That is why they banned new fast food places, but only in the Afro-American section of LA--the city does not mind "fat" whites, Asians or Hispanics--just "fat" blacks". That is pure bigotry.

As the Rand study shows, obesity is about what you eat, not WHERE you eat. It is about being in a community that doesn't have major grocery stores. It is about people making choices, not because of government mandates.
Fewer fast food places means bigger profits for those that already exist.
I have been to Selma, Alabama. Selma has more respect for Afro-Americans than Los Angeles. As I have always said, the last remnant of bigotry in America are Liberals and Democrats. And, you can have fries with that statement.
