Would you donate to the openly corrupt ACORN? Even the Obama Administration is running from ACORN--killing as many government payoffs, ur contracts as possible.
Now, the story is that ACORN is going to layoff many of its employees--what about an arrest for the embezzlement by the founder, the people responsible for the voter fraud, those responsible for the terrorist tactics against speakers (Gov. Huckabee described how ACORN closed down a speech he was giving several years acting as terrorists)
The bigger question is why the Attorney General, Eric Holder, has not opened an investigation of this criminal organization.
Before we get happy about the imminent demise of ACORN, remember, they will reopen--with a new name, in a new city, with an old set of criminal actions.
The only way to strop this is to open their books, look at their files and treat them like the Mafia, arrest, indict and convict anybody, even Administration officials, who helped them corrupt our communities.
