The Governor and Legislature stole over $3 billion from transportation funds over two years. They knew it was illegal.
Now the Supreme Court has made that the money has to be repaid--but from where? We are already $20 billion in deficit, after over $60 billion in deficits over the past three years.
The Guv has lost numerous other lawsuits, where he and the legislature knew it was breaking the law by taking dedicated money from Trust fund, and other sources and putting the money into the General Fund.
With this money, we are close to $10 billion in lost lawsuits--the next budget is now a massive disaster--the State may have only $50 billion of real money to spend.
Hold on, the Roller Coaster has come off its track.
