Real unemployment are those unemployed, those who gave up looking for a job and those working part time because they can not find a full time job. Nationally, that number is 17%, the real unemployment figure.
Here in California the REAL unemployment figure is over 20%. At the same time, AB 32 is demolishing jobs, the State should be laying off more than 50,000 employees and local government needs to get rid of another 50,000--otherwise taxes go up, services go down.
California is quickly becoming a Third World State--the 2010 elections will determine if we recover and look like Calcutta.
