The High Speed Rail folks love spending your money, like a kid in a toy store--it is daddy's money so spend what you can.
In this case as plans are revealed, so are lawsuits. Those that voted on this boondoggle realize their jobs are being killed, the environment is being harmed and little thought to the users--the few, the proud, the thieves (each rider will steal 80% of the cost of the ride from YOU, and that is the law--tickets for government transportation systems may not charge more than 20% of the actual cost to the rider--we get to pay the rest).
Enjoy this attorneys full benefits train, they are the big winners--and if built, the unions will have another annuity plan.
