  • Report says full-day kindergarten benefits are lacking, but local educators disagree

As long as you give educrats more money, they are happy. Even when facts show the money is being wasted, kids harmed or the project is make work for unions.

"They analyzed about 200,000 kindergarten records. And when comparing the half-day and full-day programs, researchers found the extra hours:

Failed to improve English fluency among English learners.

Provided no meaningful benefit for second-graders, as measured by second-grade test scores.

There were some benefits, however, including the reduced likelihood of retention in kindergarten or first grade."

Now, this is LAUSD--the most corrupt and incompetent government school district in the State and because the project is just a boondoggle to create more union members?

Either way, this was a waste for 200,000. At the same time the unions got more dues money to promote more worthless programs.

This is why LAUSD is over $1 billion in deficit. Thank a union and educators in the union pockets.
