The Governor and legislature have passed budgets in the past three years, knowing that portions were illegal--but did so to make it LOOK like they
Sacramento took $2 billion from local redevelopment agencies to balance the budget. They have just lost a $350 million case, with the $2 billion to follow shortly. This, on top of the almost $5 billion in lost lawsuits dealing with money based on stolen from roads, the sick, students.
Then you have the $1 billion "sale" of the Workers Comp system that if it happened would skyrocket workers comp costs.
We need adults in Sacramento. On October 13 the Governor is calling a special session of the legislature to"fix" our tax system...by raising taxes!!! Instead he needs to handle the over $20 billion deficit we have TODAY.
