Note the number of stores in your local mall or strip mall that are empty. See the restaurants that are not filled. Watch the rising unemployment numbers along with the foreclosures--you know sales are down.
California is in trouble. Every meeting of your city council must be involved in how to low the costs of government services, ending sweetheart union deals and getting rid of problems that should not be run by government. Next year, when almost every city will also experience a 5-20% increase in the cots of pension we will see bankruptcies are an everyday event for government.
Maybe then we will totally reform government, unions and community services.
